The Full-Day Itinerary
The day is well-paced — you never feel rushed at any stop, and there is plenty of time in the water. Here is the timeline:
Hòn Mây Rút — the jewel of the An Thoì archipelago
-
07:30
Free hotel pickup A private vehicle collects you directly from your hotel in Phú Quôc at no extra charge.
-
08:00
Ngọc Hiền Pearl Farm visit Before heading out to sea, the tour stops at Ngọc Hiền Pearl — one of Phú Quôc’s most reputable pearl farms. Watch the pearl extraction process live and browse handcrafted jewellery and antiques. No obligation to buy.
-
08:30
Transfer to the southern port The vehicle drives you to the pier on the south of the island. From there, a speedboat departs for the archipelago — the crossing takes around 15–20 minutes, with fresh fruit and drinks served on board.
-
09:00
Arrive at Hòn Mây Rút The speedboat arrives at the An Thoì archipelago. Step onto the white sand of Hòn Mây Rút Ngoài and get your first taste of the crystal-clear water. Free time to swim, explore, and settle in.
-
10:00–11:30
Sightseeing & film camera photography The guide photographs you using a film (analogue) camera — on the beach, in the hammocks, by the swings. The results are warm-toned and genuinely beautiful, very different from a phone shot. This is the best light of the day for portraits.
-
11:30–12:30
SUP board & Flycam drone session Lie on a SUP board in the shallow water while the guide flies the drone directly overhead for a stunning top-down aerial shot. The turquoise water and white sand make this one of the most shareable photos of the trip.
-
12:00–13:00
Hòn Mây Rút Trong — 8-dish seafood lunch Lunch is served on the inner island, which has the clearest and most vivid blue water of the day. The meal includes eight dishes: fried eggs, grilled clams, boiled shrimp, braised fish, stir-fried squid, fish hot pot, and more — all freshly prepared on the island.
-
13:30–15:00
Hòn Gàm Ghì — coral snorkeling Also known as Hòn Dãm Ngang, this island offers the best snorkeling of the day. The water is exceptionally clear with healthy coral and plenty of fish. Lifejackets and snorkeling masks are provided; no experience is needed.
-
15:00
Return to Phú Quôc & hotel drop-off The speedboat returns to the southern pier, and the vehicle drives you back to your hotel free of charge.
The Three Islands Up Close
Hòn Mây Rút Ngoài (Outer Island)
Hòn Mây Rút Ngoài is the photogenic star of the tour. The beach curves in a wide arc of powdery white sand backed by jungle. The water is shallow enough to wade far out, and the colour ranges from pale jade near the shore to deep blue further out. The tour guide is experienced with photography — they will shoot you with a film (analogue) camera and also operate the drone for aerial shots. If you want to lie on a SUP board for a top-down Flycam shot, this is your moment.

Hòn Mây Rút Trong (Inner Island)
The inner island is where the group stops for lunch, and the setting does not disappoint. The water here is arguably the most vivid of the day — a luminous turquoise that looks almost unreal in the midday light. The seafood lunch covers eight dishes and is included in the tour price. After eating, there is free time to swim before boarding the boat to the final stop.
Hòn Gàm Ghì — Coral Snorkeling
Hòn Gàm Ghì (also called Hòn Dãm Ngang) is the snorkeling highlight of the day. The visibility here is excellent — you can see the coral clearly from the surface before you even put your mask on. Fish are abundant. Lifejackets and snorkeling masks are included in the tour price, so you do not need to bring your own gear or have any prior experience. The guide will help non-swimmers feel comfortable in the water.
Pricing & What’s Included
The base price includes: free hotel pickup and drop-off, a bilingual tour guide, speedboat transfers between islands, fruit and drinks on the boat, the 8-dish seafood lunch, lifejacket and snorkeling mask, and professional photography with both a film camera and drone (Flycam).
Optional activities that cost extra (around 1,000,000 VND or more per person depending on the activity) include seawalking (walking on the ocean floor with a helmet), parasailing, jet-ski, and inflatable water toys. These can be booked directly on the day at the islands.
What to Pack
About Ngọc Hiền Pearl Farm
The tour begins with a stop at Ngọc Hiền Pearl, one of Phú Quôc’s most established pearl producers. You can watch staff carefully open oysters and extract pearls, and learn about how saltwater pearls are cultivated in the clear waters around the island. The farm also displays a range of jewellery and historical artefacts. It is a genuine and interesting stop — not just a shopping detour.
